There was an airshow in Omaha a few weekends ago. Aaron always says that he is going to take that weekend off so we can go. He didn't end out taking the weekend off but he did break away from work for a few hours so we could go. It was somewhat of an experiment as we weren't quite sure how Brevin would handle the noise, crowd, and stimulus. But all went unexpectantly well!! The boys (all three of them) loved the planes! We couldn't have asked for better weather as the temperature was in the mid 70's, which is unseasonably cool for this time of the year. Jace and Brevin especially enjoyed the stunt planes and the transport from the designated parking areas and the airforce base. They got to ride the big yellow bus!! That was as much of a highlight as the planes. It was a treat to be able to enjoy the family, weather, and good entertainment! It was worth dealing with two cranky kids by myself (Aaron had to go back to work) as Jace missed his nap and Brevin was very tired after all of the excitment.
