We finally finished our kitchen. When we moved here we took down wall paper, painted, replaced the base boards, installed a dishwasher, and refinished and rebuilt some of the cabinetry. We never intended to put new flooring in our kitchen, but lets face it, we didn't know we were going to be here as long as we have been, and as nice as it looks right now, we should have done this a LONG time ago!! The result is awesome! It was a lot of hard work . . . two full days of prep, tiling, and grouting, but every house project is hard work. I didn't help at all with the grout on the second day as Jace always wants to be a helper when it comes to any sort of project, so I spent the day trying to keep him away from the kitchen. It was not an easy task, especially because his mood is determined by food! The house was a mess by the end of the two days but things are back to normal and the result is awesome! It is great to have a handy husband! Thanks honey for your hard work!

Looks nice! I wish our kitchen was done. Hopefully this spring. It sure is a lot of work but always well-worth it in the end.
